I'm not sure about "true ownership of in-game assets, where items like skins or weapons are turned into NFTs". If you give gamers true ownership of their items and it happens that they get griefed e.g. via social engineering (which happens in games), good luck to have an admin bring them back their items. It would not be possible. Games should stay games and blockchained items in games would make it impossible for game admins to correct whatever they need to correct. Just think about WoW and how busy game admins are fixing this and that. I know there are currently a lot of game devs out there busy implementing blockchain to their games just so that they can say their game is cool because it uses blockchain. But it is always important to have the idea in the lead and let the tools follow the needs and not the other way 'round. Don't do "something with blockchain". Do "something". If it turns out that it needs blockchain, then use blockchain.

Subject: Blockchain Gaming App
Gamers want true ownership of in-game assets, where items like skins or weapons are turned into NFTs, allowing them to trade or sell freely. They're also excited about cross-platform play, where progress and items can move between games, creating a more connected gaming ecosystem. Transparent in-game economies powered by blockchain would ensure fairness, preventing developers from manipulating markets.
Players are interested in play-to-earn models, where they can earn real-world value through in-game achievements. Blockchain could also introduce decentralized game governance, giving players a say in game updates and features. Plus, secure trading would make item exchanges safer and scam-free.
Gamers also want interoperability, allowing assets to work across different games and platforms. If you're developing a blockchain gaming app and need more ideas or help, feel free to email me at m.danish@smartmuv.app or visit smartmuv.app.

I'm developing a blockchain gaming app. I would like a list of suggestions from anyone who are avid gamers on how they would like to see blockchain change the gaming industry.
