This Webinar will cover several areas of Db2 Catalog domain, including the catalog tables where all the Db2 tables metadata are kept, the in and out of the catalog scan interfaces provided for other Db2 components to consume, peeking into the packed descriptors, and the utilities to examine and rebuild Db2 catalog. It will also cover the catalog upgrade for every new release. Also included as an important topic will be the namespace isolation, aka tenant. Will talk about the catalog layout for tenants, the authorization for tenant and the future possible work.
