  • 1.  SQL/SPL Editor apps

    Hi 

    I'm looking for an application on windows for our dev team, which can handle execute SQL, create SPL/triggers, load /unonload data.

    Bonus if it can open the source text files and login to database from command line. (Because we have to preper our SPL-s source code file before we're creating it in the database.)

    (like the old SQLEditor from the old time, but with fresh driver ;) )

    You have several options:

    • The free version (after the trial license expires) of AGS Server Studio includes an SQL editor and can execute queries. Download from Server Studio and Sentinel - Advanced DBMS Tools for IBM Informix Data Servers
    • The engine and CSDK are both delivered with dbaccess which you can copy anywhere you need it, or just install the CSDK wherever you need it.
    • Informix HQ includes an SQL editor and can execute queries.
    • The SQuireL SQL Editor can connect to Informix
    • The RazorSQL SQL Editor can connect to Informix
    • DBVisualizer supports Informix (commercial)
    • Most SQL Editors that support ODBC or JDBC connections support Informix
