    OMEGAMON Data Provider Update: Db2 Performance Data expanded with integration with Db2 Query Monitor and Automation Expert.

    Omegamon Data Provider or ODP, was first introduced and available in November '21, with the ability to stream OMEGAMON data for the z/OS agent.  It was later expanded to provide streaming for all the Omegamon agents including Db2.  In November of '23, ODP's Db2 metrics were expanded with the integration of IBM's Db2 Query Monitor, and Automation Expert.   

    IBM's OMEGAMON Data Provider (ODP) provides the ability to capture Db2 z/OS performance data and put it into a standard JSON format which can be consumed by most analytic applications.  This provides the ability to separate Db2 performance data from legacy interfaces providing you full control of how your performance data is formatted, displayed and analyzed.  ODP can stream performance data collected by OMEGAMON, Db2 Query Monitor, and Db2 Automation Tool Expert to modern user interfaces such as Grafana, Elastic, Splunk, IBM Instana, and many others.
