    IBM TechXchange: Informix Technology Days 2025 on March 12 & 13, 2025

    The Informix Technology Days will take place at the IBM Watson Center in Munich. All types of (potential) Informix users are cordially invited.

    At these IBM TechXchange Informix Technology Days, users of Informix database systems have the opportunity to learn about new features and best practices for the successful operation of Informix. Customers and partners have the opportunity to network with each other and address all their questions directly to experts from the laboratory or support.

    For example, lectures will be held on the following topics:

    • Informix news & roadmap

    • Best practices with Informix

    • Deep dives on special topics

    One of the speakers this time will be the Chief Architect of Informix - JC Lengyel.

    2025-03-12 10:00am-5:30m Presentations

    2025-03-13 9:00am-1:00pm Hands-on-labs resp. discussion

    Costs:

    There is no participation fee.

    Presentations on the morning of the first day will be in English. Presentations in the afternoon will be in German. Most of the slides will be in English.
    On the second day, March 13th, we plan to hold hands-on labs. Alternatively, there is the opportunity to discuss various current topics. You will need your own laptop to take part in the hands-on labs.

    I would like to attend the IBM TechXchange: Informix Technology Days 2025, which is slated for March 12-13, 2025, in Munich. I happen to be from Dev Bhoomi, Uttarakhand University, and I want to know all about the new Informix features and best practices.

    Sadly, I cannot attend the event on those dates due to distance and school commitments. I would thus very much appreciate attending the event online.

    Would you let me know if it is possible to attend? Also, I would like it when you provide me with directions regarding registration and access to the sessions.

    Originally the event was planned as an on-premisses event only. But there were several requests for online attendance. Therefore, we are considering making some of the sessions available online. I will let you know when it has been decided whether / which sessions will be made available online.
