Can we use the last JDBC driver for IBM DB2 LUW 11.5.8 with previous versions of database (11.5.5 or 11.5.7)

  • 1.  Can we use the last JDBC driver for IBM DB2 LUW 11.5.8 with previous versions of database (11.5.5 or 11.5.7)

    We're migrating our database to IBM DB2 LUW and we want to know if is there any problem if I use in my app the last JDBC driver to connect to database (11.5.8) to also connect to previous minor releases such as 11.5.7 or 11.5.5.

    Does anyone know it?

    There should be no problem with such an access.
    IBM Data Server Driver for JDBC and SQLJ versions and Db2 or Db2 Connect levels
