The transactional data originating in Db2 for z/OS can provide essential content for data fabric projects. With this new release, customers get:

  • One-click meta-data integration with Watson Knowledge Catalog simplifies incorporating Db2 Data Gate data within a data fabric
  • Query redirection of Db2 for z/OS analytical queries to Db2 Data Gate
  • Cloud archiving of Db2 for z/OS data helping to lower the cost of running Db2 for z/OS based applications
