Using v10.1.0. We are experiencing and issue with Map Designer crashing when trying to build a map using nested resourcelib calls. We can work around this by storing in a flow variable or a field, however we thought support should be made aware of the issue so that it can be documented or resolved in future versions (if not already).
Example -
=resourcelib->GETRESOURCEALIAS(resourcelib->GETENV("ITXRSRCCONFIG"), "%HOSTNAME%")
Causes Designer to crash when trying to build… To be able to externalize and consistently deploy the Resource Registry across systems, we decided to make the location of the MRC an OS Environment variable. Most cases we will just use the %alias% value but for debugging or when using flow variables to persist and reuse and item we may need to call the resourcelib function to get a value vs using the direct variable in the related exit function/adapter call. When demonstrating this to a coworker we tried the shortcut of just nesting and it caused Designer to crash.
Seems like this is a BUG – even if this isn't allowed it should give a rule invalid warning or such.
