We've loved getting all your feedback thus far. If for some reason you had to step out or couldn't make the event at the designated time, you have until the end of tomorrow, Friday, June 24th (11:59 pm Pacific) to keep responding!
To participate in research studies with deeper feedback on IBM products and see unreleased features, 🎟 sign up for the User Experience Program.

Perhaps CP4D could be using some elements of InnerSource so that internal users within IBM can be opening issues for new features? Something like that.

    Hey Jim!

Yes, great idea! We do have some efforts to collect issues, feedback, and insights from IBM users. For example, the IBM Data and AI Ideas Portal for Customers found here: https://ibm-data-and-ai.ideas.ibm.com/?category=6982949146944943308

It should be seamless that our users (regardless of internal or external) are able to document or open any issues! If you have more ideas on this, we would love to hear about them.

Can you give a feel for what being in the User Experience Program would involve?  I see the signup form but no indication of what it would provide access to.

    Hey Steve!

Yes, of course. The User Experience Program (UXP) is designed to be relatively low maintenance for those who sign up, our researchers periodically reach out to those in our UXP that closely align with their current project needs. The UXP partners are IBM customers that help our product teams to innovate, improve the user experience, and contribute to the future of our products. UXP partners provide insights about their individual use cases and deliver feedback on in-flight designs as part of user researcher sessions. You are also recognized for those efforts.
You can find more information about the recognition badges for our User Experience Program (UXP) here: https://www.ibm.com/products/feedback/user-experience-program/badges

Sounds useful, will sign up - I seem to notice things that haven't popped up for others.

I posted (for IBM Infosphere DataStage) a lot of RFEs in the IBM RFE portal which was like writing them to /dev/null, the IBM decided to drop the RFE portal and start with aha/ideas (which is now ibm-data-and-ai.ideas.ibm.com) which was first disapointing, especially for only the newest entries of the old portal where migrated, I then reposted some of my old RFEs (which where mostly in the status of submitted even after 3 years) there, in this portal at least somebody read them and marked them as e.g. future consideration or will not implement. With CP4D/DaaS and the slack channel for it, the feedback loop with IBM has improved very much now, which makes me much more motivated to contribute to try to improve the tool.

Thank you for sharing your experience with our idea and feedback collection processes. It is helpful. I have shared your comments with a few others in my org for their awareness.
    Keep the feedback coming!
