Speakers Bio:
Jordan Freedman
Jordan Freedman is a Product Manager for Cloud Object Storage with IBM Cloud. Jordan is responsible for managing the vision and roadmap for specific domains within the product, consulting with top Fortune 100 clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and turn these into a set of prioritized features based on key metrics that reflect market opportunity. Jordan manages features across the SDLC that meet specific customer demands, which have resulted in new net opportunities, improved the user experience, and assisted customers with meeting emerging privacy regulations. Jordan has developed and managed several strategic partnerships to grow new market segments directly resulting in qualified leads and new customer revenue. Jordan is a graduate of Northwestern University and holds previous experience as a strategy consultant for IBM. From both these roles, he has owned the success of key initiatives while working with technical experts, sales and delivery personnel, executive management, market researchers, and professional services teams.
Jason Berry
I am a customer advocate at heart, constantly striving to find the simplest solutions for complex IT problems. I found my interest in technology when I completed a internship for Human Resources Development Canada. Technology was used in a positive fashion to assist people find new jobs online using kiosks and submit for Unemployment benefits. That experience gave me the understanding that technology would become a new way for people to interact with government programs. I have experience in projects with EMC solutions around storage, backup and business continuity. My focus has been primarily on virtualized infrastructures. I configure and document EMC solutions to meet customer objectives. Most recently I was deeply focused on solutions for customers unstructured data.
