  • 1.  LSF overkill for monitoring flexlm license use?

    I stumbled across this community resource looking for free tools to monitor flexlm license use (Abaqus).  While compute jobs will be running on an HPC, I am only interested in monitoring license use on the single flexlm license server, which seems to not meet the minimum of a "computing environment that consists of 2 to 10 hosts".  Am I barking up the wrong tree here?   If so, I will move on with apologies for taking up the bandwidth and look for a simpler reporting tool for flexlm.

    Hi David,

    You may elaborate why number of nodes has impact on license server? Do you mean only allow job checks out license from one dedicated license server? Do you use License Scheduler?
