We are excited to announce addition of Red Hat OpenShift AI to our IBM Cloud Red Hat OpenShift service.

What is Red Hat OpenShift AI?

Red Hat OpenShift AI is a flexible, scalable artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) developer-focused platform that enables creation and delivery of AI-enabled applications at scale. Built using open-source technologies, Red Hat OpenShift AI provides trusted, operationally consistent capabilities for teams to experiment, serve models, and deliver innovative applications.
IBM Cloud is offering the capabilities of Red Hat OpenShift AI via Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud as an add-on and as a Deployable architecture . With this add-on and Deployable architecture, users can introduce AI to the workload running on OpenShift seamlessly. Data Scientists can focus on model development and similarly Application developers can focus on model serving while being on the same platform. OpenShift allows resource optimization and management out-of-the-box which supports AI focused development to be carried out easily with OpenShift AI.

Deployable architecture on IBM Cloud

IBM Cloud with its Deployable architecture supports onboarding first time or new OpenShift users with a template with defined cluster size which is repeatable. Users can select the T-Shirt size that fits their AI use case and pricing the best and with a single click, get the OpenShift cluster and OpenShift AI added to it on IBM Cloud.

Red Hat OpenShift AI on IBM Cloud supports accelerated AI/ML development with pre-built tools and workflows like TensorFlow, PyTorch etc. along with supporting bring your own (BYO) images to support both new and experienced AI developers to get started with their AI journey.

Red Hat OpenShift AI enables data acquisition and preparation, model training and fine-tuning, model serving and model monitoring, and hardware acceleration.

The latest release of Red Hat OpenShift AI delivers enhanced support for predictive and generative AI (Gen AI) model serving, improves efficiency of data processing and model training.
