Getting started with Watsonx Assitant

Watsonx Assistant lets you build conversational interfaces into any application, device, or channel. 

IBM® watsonx™ Assistant, focused on using actions to build customer conversations, is designed to make it simple enough for anyone to build a virtual assistant. Common applications include virtual agents and chat bots that can integrate and communicate on any channel or device.

How to start with IBM Cloud

Go to https://cloud.ibm.com/

To begin using Watson Assistant, search in the search bar Watsonx Assistant.

                                    OR

 

Click on Catalog and you can search Watsonx Assistant.

You will be taken to the purchasing plan, where you can specify the location, service name, resource group, tags, and access management tags.

Please ensure that a resource group is created in your account and selected. Refer to this document to build a resource group:- https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/account?topic=account-rgs&interface=ui#create_rgs

After completing the required fields and reading the terms and conditions, click the Create button in the bottom right corner.

How to check the WatsonX assitant has been created

  1. Go to https://cloud.ibm.com/resources 
  2. Expand AI / Machine Learning

You can locate your assistant here. In this example i have named as Watsonx Assistant-n9 . 

How to find CRN/ instance details

  1. Go to https://cloud.ibm.com/resources
  2. Expand AI / Machine Learning
  3. Select the Watson Assistant line to get the CRN details and instance details
