I have had so many questions about the updated Technical Advocate curriculum that I wanted to get more information out to our learners.
If you are looking to add Technical Advocate to your credentials, your timing could not be better. The updated curriculum has new concepts, better-flowing courses, and a streamlined learning path to make the training better than ever! The IBM Cloud Technical Advocate certification exam version 5 will be available on November 10th.
If you are still working on the prior version, V4, that's okay: the v4 certification will be available through February 2024. V4 and V5 are both valid certifications, so if you are already 50% thru the V4 training, go ahead and take that exam.

Why are updates important?
Like everything in technology, IBM Cloud is constantly evolving. And we are making sure our Cloud training is evolving with it, by updating our certifications every 12-24 months.
The updated IBM Cloud Technical Advocate now takes 25% less time to complete. The streamlined learning path also includes new badges and exam questions to help you be even better prepared on exam day.
So, not only will you gain the knowledge that you will need to pass your certification exam, but you can also take the Technical Advocate exam for free. And if you do not succeed on the first try, we have the Second Chance promotion to let you retake the exam again at no cost. Use the Promotion Code: ICCTSecondChance on the PearsonVue Website valid through year end.
If you are studying be sure to use our Cloud Prep App https://ibm-cloud-prep.yourlearning.ibm.com/certifications/multipleCertifications?parentId=ibm-cloud-technical-advocate. Study materials for both versions are available in the App.
