The refreshed IBM Cloud DevSecOps v2 reflects the importance of security in the development lifecycle. And with a new emphasis on enterprise-level over project-level development, the IBM Center for Cloud Training has strengthened this specialty certification, as the program zeroes in on DevSecOps culture and makes across-the-board course refinements. 

New areas of focus in the updated learning path  

The DevSecOps curriculum continues to reinforce fundamental DevSecOps concepts, while including refinements such as evidence collection and audit readiness, use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in DevSecOps practice, and event and change management. Additional refinements include an expanded emphasis on deployment strategies, with a new course that presents delivery models for both distributed and hybrid continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Other changes include an intermediate badge you may earn as you progress thru the training.  The certification exam also has been updated to reflect refinements to the DevSecOps training assets.
