Playing Favorites: IBM Cloud Compute @ TechXchange 2023

By Meryl Veramonti posted Tue September 05, 2023 01:09 PM

I may be a tad bit biased, but your compute hardware is the most important piece in your cloud journey. The way I see it -- the bottom of your stack controls not only the workloads you can deploy, but also the level of performance you can hope to achieve across a variety of enterprise applications, including SAP, VMware, FinTech, and more. Take a look below at my curated, must-not-miss sessions on the latest case studies, architectural rundowns, and expert Q&A's for IBM Cloud Bare Metal Servers VPC and IBM Cloud Virtual Servers VPC at this year's IBM TechXChange 2023.

Come learn about the American Airlines journey to migrate their Employee Travel solution (used by employees world-wide when booking travel) to IBM Cloud Kubernetes inside IBM Cloud Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). We'll take-off by understanding how connectivity to on-premise data centers were established, climb to a higher altitude to examine which architecture patterns were considered and selected, and upon reaching cruising speed will review how containerized workloads are rapidly deployed. Before landing, lessons learned along the way and which of the newest IBM Cloud features the team will be leveraging next will be covered!
