Today at Think 2024, IBM and Red Hat announced the co-launch of InstructLab, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at advancing true open-source innovation around large language models (LLMs).
InstructLab empowers developers to build models tailored to their specific business domains or industries using their own data, allowing them to realize the direct value of AI rather than having it confined to model providers.
IBM plans to leverage these open-source contributions to enhance its offerings for clients through integrations with watsonx.ai and the new Red Hat Enterprise Linux AI (RHEL AI) solution.
RHEL AI features an enterprise-ready version of InstructLab, IBM’s open-source Granite models, and the world’s leading enterprise Linux platform, designed to simplify AI deployment across hybrid infrastructure environments.
This collaboration represents a significant step forward in making AI more accessible and beneficial for businesses across various sectors. Stay tuned for more updates and read more here!
