Bio

Advocate of low-cost entry into the IBM Z ecosystem. Long time user of mainframes, since 1979 in college. Moved to the ISV side in 1991, worked in R&D since 1995, mainly with z/OS, but also some z/VSE and z/VM. Helped with creation of VSEⁿ when 21CS licensed it.


Systems programmer specialist for ADCD-based systems. Assembly language developer primarily, but also use Metal C and Rexx (interpreter and compiler), as well as COBOL, PL/I, and VS FORTRAN. SHARE® volunteer, positions are LAF Track Manager and Editorial Advisory Committee Member.
