I am thrilled and honored to be nominated as an IBM Champion 2025! This recognition is a testament to my journey, dedication, and the incredible team I have had the privilege to work with at CENADI (https://www.cenadi.cm), Cameroon’s governmental IT backbone.
A Legacy of IBM Excellence
For decades, the government of Cameroon has relied on IBM mainframe infrastructure to power critical services. Being part of this organization has shaped who I am today, allowing me to develop expertise in mainframe operations, Linux on IBM Z, and Kubernetes. The knowledge I have gained over the years has not only strengthened my technical skills but has also fueled my passion for modernizing legacy systems while preserving their reliability and robustness.
Leveraging IBM for a Hybrid Future
At CENADI, we continuously strive to integrate Linux workloads alongside our traditional IBM Z environment, optimizing performance, security, and scalability. My role in this transformation has been both challenging and rewarding—ensuring that critical government applications remain available and resilient while embracing cloud-native technologies. Our journey has taught us that innovation doesn’t mean replacing legacy systems; it means leveraging the best of both worlds.
The Power of Community
This IBM Champion nomination is not just a personal achievement—it reflects the collective efforts of my peers, mentors, and colleagues who share a vision for technological advancement in Cameroon. I believe in knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and fostering a strong community of IBM technology enthusiasts, especially in Africa, where the potential for growth is immense.
What’s Next?
