To the best of my knowledge, that's a system-wide setting...you can't change it for a subset of reports. ------------------------------ Chris Turner ------------------------------

This "team" is a bunch of individuals, located around the globe, that provide ad hoc help to people on general topics and issues. The problem that you're having is specific to you, and one that you need to take up with the technical team within your company / business etc. You will need to find out from ...

I wrote this blog post a lifetime ago, but I think it will still do the job for you. When you schedule the report you just need to select Yesterday http://cognostips.weebly.com/blog/date-prompts Sent from Outlook for iOS

In your report you probably just need something along the lines of: [Position], [Employee No], total([Hours Worked], total(Salary]) ------------------------------ Chris Turner ------------------------------

Hi Milind, That's likely to be a combination of your data, and the way that CASE statements work. When a case statement gets to a branch that evaluates to true, it executes that branch then exits the statement. I don't know what your data is like, or how you want to evalute it, but you might ...

I think your CASE statement should be something like this: case when [FNMP-DW-DS].[Virtual Machine].[Located in Service Provider Datacenter]=0 then 'On-premises' when [FNMP-DW-DS].[Virtual Machine].[Located in Service Provider Datacenter] <>0 then 'Cloud' when [FNMP-DW-DS].[Comput ...

Does your [Facilty - Created Timestamp] field have a time element to it? If it does then you probably need to cast it first, e.g. (?p_ReportDate? = 'Today' and cast([Receipt].[Facility - Created Timestamp],date) = current_date ) OR (?p_ReportDate? = 'Previous Day' and cast([Receipt].[Facility ...

My approach would be a bit long-winded, and I definitely wouldn't want to do it for more than, say, four measures. I'd create a chart for each combination, then control which one gets displayed using render variables. In your case I think you'd need 15 charts and the corresponding 15 render variables. ...

Hi Gustavo - I don't know if it's the most performant way of doing it, but I'd create a left outer join from dataset B to dataset A on Client ID = Participant ID, then filter for Participant ID is missing ------------------------------ Chris Turner ------------------------------

Presumably these reports worked before? If so, what's changed since? The error you've inlcuded appears to be related to the database - has it moved, has the security changed, has someone altered the connection in Cognos? ------------------------------ Chris Turner ---------------------------- ...

Not that I know of if you want to have a date / calendar type prompt for the dates. You can achieve it by creating a value prompt, and a query from your data module to provide the values... ------------------------------ Chris Turner ------------------------------

Depending on what your needs are, I'd be tempted to break that up into separate chunks and just concatenate them. So something along the lines of 'As at' + cast(month(_add_months(ParamValue('data_Filter'),-1)) as char(3)) + cast(year(_add_months(ParamValue('date_filter),-1)) as char(4)) I haven't ...

In the screenshot you've posted above, you can see New Report > Pages > Page1 at the top. If you click on New Report it should give you a drop down with Pages, Prompt Pages, Queries etc. If you click on Queries you can create a new query or edit an existing one. Hope that helps. ------------------------------ ...
