There is a significant focus on application modernization and enabling new workflows as microservices on top of Red Hat’s OpenShift Container Platform. However, many organizations have a huge investment in legacy code and shared infrastructure that they need to maintain. Ideally they want to be able to have these new workloads share the infrastructure as the legacy workloads. In this session we will explore how Spectrum LSF (for legacy workloads) and OCP (for new workloads) can co-exist and how work can be submitted from one to the other. It will also examine Operator deployment of LSF on top of OCP.
