- How has the asymmetrical folding and unfolding of C-elements to be set up that it works as it does in PAW?
Universal reports currently does not support asymmetrical folding and unfolding in the current version, however we are working on adding the capability in the near future.
- Is it possible to combine the well-known formulas for dynamic reports in the Universal Report? E.G. SUBNM, DBRW, TM1RPTROW.
We do not recommend the formulas listed above as they do not support hierarchies, if your universal report contains members from a hierarchy, these formulas will fail. We recommend TM1SET, TM1VAL. Mixing Dynamic report formulas and Universal reports is not recommended. We will enhance our calculation capabilities, you will be able to add standard excel formulas, UDCs, and also support attribute-based formatting.
- Is it possible to manipulate the hidden rows 1-27 using native Excel functions (e.g. concatenating cell references on conditional basis) to create more dynamics? E.g. exchanging the MDX statement for the row dimension by reading it from an auxiliary cube and exchange it depending on the selection in a dropdown? (Same John O'Leary addresses with his point 2.1)
YES, as long as the resulting MDX is syntactically correct.
- Zerosuppresion works in Excel. Is there a special setting for zero suppression in PASSL? Does not work for PASSL 2.0.91, Pafe 2.0.91, PAW 2.0.91, PAL 2.0.9.19
I'll have to verify this, the outlined behavior is not normal.

Hi Xavier,
I took part in the webcast last week. Unfortunately, I missed asking my questions. I have already experimented a bit and the following questions have arisen:
- How has the asymmetrical folding and unfolding of C-elements to be set up that it works as it does in PAW?
- Is it possible to combine the well-known formulas for dynamic reports in the Universal Report? E.G. SUBNM, DBRW, TM1RPTROW.
- Zerosuppresion works in Excel. Is there a special setting for zero suppression in PASSL? Does not work for PASSL 2.0.91, Pafe 2.0.91, PAW 2.0.91, PAL 2.0.9.19
I know those questions are quiet specific. But may there is detailed documentation anywhere?
Kind regards

Summary
In this session, we will provide an overview of Universal Reports, tips and tricks, and provide a view of what is in the labs. Universal Reports offers various new features that are currently not available in other PAfE report types, such as native MS excel conditional formatting, full support for TM1 hierarchies, end user access to the set editor for report content control, and much more.
