Hi,

by default, "Select & search prompt" and "Tree prompt" are missing when the Data module (containing OLAP or relational data sources) is used as a source for the report.  
Is there any option to enable these prompts for the reports based on Data module or custom controls should be used instead?
Cognos Analytics version we are using is 11.1.6.

Anita, 

Unfortunately, S&S and Tree prompts are not supported for Data modules.

I wonder if they are ever going to be supported?
If the client is adamant about S&S, maybe try this:

Hi Anita,

I am not sure about "Tree prompt" but you can still use "Select and search prompt" in data module. 
- You can drag value prompt to the prompt page and select it and on top in interactive toolbox, if you click on more button, you will get an option to covert it to Select and search option. 
- Other option is: You can create these prompts using package as a source and save that report as a template and use layout component reference to refer these prompts in the report created using DM as a source. It worked for me.
