Unfortunately that's not really what I am looking for.
I want to create navigation WITHIN a dashboard. Effectively like a JUMP button to allow us to create a pretty welcome tab and send people to another tab quickly and easily (eg Historical trend view , vs , Map View)
This functionality is native in other BI dashboard tools. The products have their own normal tabs etc... but if you want to augment the navigation with your own buttons /icons you can.
It would seem a natural use of ICONs and SHAPES

Effectively they could act as buttons and anything you could want to do:
- jump to a tab
- clear filters (at a custom screen location)
- start another app (launch a url/window)

I can successfully create charts and filters etc. and now want to produce a "pretty" opening page with direct links to specific tabs. But I can't see where/how to do this. (I am happy to be pointed to the right info/page).
I can drop in SHAPES and IMAGES onto my tab, but I can't see in the properties box or anywhere on how to give them any action/purpose. If I can't 'do something' with a shape what are they for ???
I hope this is a suitably simple and silly question to get a quick response. Much appreciated !!!
