    Hi,

I got this alert today. Don't recall if there was a reminder/alert raised before today about this. But, I must highlight that one week is very less time to make this in multiple environments we have. Now, we have to de-prioritize everything else and do this first. I wish IBM had alerted much before.

    Thanks!

And another question: how can we determine which SSL certificate is being used on TM1 10.2.2 and older? There is no gsk8capicmd_64.exe here

Looking at IBM Cognos Configuration, TM1 Admin Server, there is a setting for TM1 Admin Server Certificate Version.

This appears to be what the article is referring to and as mentioned, by default Version 1 is used:

    Hi All,

The client is Tm1 10.2.2. Tried the below option of changing certification verion 1 in Cognos Configuration and in the TM1s.cfg. But it didn't fix the issue. Do I need to perform any other steps?

Any help would be much appreciated.

These are the steps you'll need to perform for the change:

1- In Cognos Configuration in the TM1 Admin Server section, change Server Certificate Version from 2 to 1
2- In tm1s.cfg for all instances of TM1, remove the CertificateVersion=2 parameter
3- Restart Admin Server and all TM1 server instances
4- In Architect/Perspectives, update Certificate authority to point to the applixca.pem certificate file instead of the tm1ca_v2.pem.

I wanted to provide confirmation that the steps from Shahhere are correct. I just went through this issue with a client on 10.2.2 and these steps resolved the expired certificate issue.
