  • 1.  Exploration Details Pane won't Display Information

    In CAWW 11.2.2, in the Explore interface, the Details pane is blank. I have tried in both our Production and Dev environments, and they both have the same issue.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    What data source are you using? Is it a package, and if so, did you make sure it has been enriched?

    Hi Stephune,

    Is it working for another user? Did you try with another data source (from the Samples folder, for instance)?

    @Mark Fry is also right. You might need to enrich your package. You can't enrich a package that includes dimensionally modeled (DMR) relational objects.

    Hello Patrick,

    I am using the IBM Telco_Customer_churn Excel file. I have also tried to used a Dataset and other uploaded Excel files. Yes, this is also happening to other users as well.

    Our Admin tracked these errors when using Exploration and attempting to launch the Details:

    Never seen this kind of error.
    A few ideas:
    Did you try with another brower such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox?
    Do you use the default java JRE from IBM or another one?

    The HTTP 500 error is quite strange. Do you have your Cognos server(s) on premise or cloud/hosted?

    Hi Stephune,

    I would open a ticket with IBM support for this. I have the same Excel file, and it works fine in my 11.1.7 instance. I don't have access to an 11.2.2 instance to try it, sadly (although if anyone else does and feels like testing, I can provide the file).
