    What did you think about the event? What did you like and what could we do better. Special interested in Community Day feedback, but I take all input :).

    Overall, I thought the event was excellent.  One challenge was the overwhelming interest in the hands-on labs.  It may be helpful to have folks sign up similar to what has been done at Think in the past and to offer more opportunities. 

    I thought the Community Day event was great.  I enjoyed the opportunity to participate in the Client lightning panel which gave me an opportunity to learn from others and share information regarding the session I was co-presenting.  I liked the more relaxed atmosphere on Community Day as well.

    ​I enjoyed the Community Day event for the most part.  I think there was too many sessions that combined Planning and Cognos.  One presenter made the comment that less that 50% of customers use both, so it makes those interested in one product or the other sit through presentations that they have no interest in.

    It seemed like this should have been the day to showcase a roadmap session.  From the agenda, the What's coming next session should have done this but the back and forth presentations of Planning and Cognos muddied the waters and didn't really have a good flow to get folks excited about the future of the product.

    The design sessions were interesting, although not really what I expected.

    More labs would have been good.

    It was still a great way to join the conversation and start the conference early.

    I wish there were more hands-on labs. ​Also, in one of the labs I attended, the presenter lectured for over an hour, it was boring and confusing. 

    Having attended last year, I liked it better then. This year the buzzword was AI, too broad and general, there was less focus on cognos, I wish it was different.

    ​I've attended IBM THINK in the past where it was a sea of people and a struggle to attend sessions. From that perspective this conference was much easier to get around in. I didn't like the fact that hands-on labs were first come, even though I was there 30 minutes early the rooms were all ready full. Internet access was also very spotty for users as well as presenters which affect many of the sessions. I still miss the old days where there were sessions showing off tips and tricks using Analytics (reports, dashboards, etc). Its these type of sessions that get me fired up and then I take that back to my organization.

    I did appreciate the access I had to the IBM executives, being able to ask pointed questions and then to follow up with other IBM technical experts. That was also most worth the trip alone.  Vendor booths were ok although there were not that many. Lucky the ones I wanted were there but had I been less experienced it would have been very underwhelming.

    I concur with others that the mix of Planning and Analytics was troublesome. Many of the session write ups talked about road maps but never did get into it during the session.  I came away without much vision to what IBM has planned for CA.

    Overall I'd give it a 7 out of 10; worth it but still needs work.

    @Scott Taylor great points and thank you for your feedback. I agree with you that we need to focus more on the user's needs at Community Day. Tips and Tricks are essential to get or work done faster and more efficiently. Next year I will reach out to the community for ideas ahead of the conference to create a more immersive user experience. 

    Stay engaged and keep pushing on us to do better :)
