which version of Cognos do you use and what exactly do you mean by "exporting" the viz? 

I've tried it out with factorymode=true in CA 12.0.1 and the coloured points are missing even there (without CogBox loaded). Might be an unknown bug...

I use the CogBox feature "Export Visualization Image" (see screenshot) to export single Chart from Dashboard.

when using the share - E-mail function, I don't see the colored legend too. When using the share-export function, the colored legend is visible.

we have a similar problem. Exporting Dashboards to PDF in Firefox creates blank Pages, in Chrome the content scaling is wrong (too small in left upper corner)

Seems the bug with colours in legend appears when creating a jpg File (share-Email or CogBox Export Viz)

FYI: I wrote a post about the problem in PM-Square CogBox section too and Paul asked for the Cognos Version.
