On user logon do Planning Analytics clients perform password hashing and password salting ?
When you logon to a TM1 server, how is the password transferred from the Planning Analytics client to the TM1 server ?
Is the password transferred in clear text ?
Or is password hashing performed by the Planning Analytics client so that it sends an encrypted password to the TM1 server ?
As password hashing encrypts a password in a predictable consistent manner, does the Planning Analytics client create a salted hashed password, and by doing so creating a true randomly encrypted password ?
Does it depend on the Planning Analytics client if password hashing and password salting are performed ?
If so, which Planning Analytics client perform password hashing and password salting ?
