    Background: From working a case with IBM Support for Cognos Analytics we've come to learn that portlets are not officially supported in CA11.1.x, but to all appearances have not been removed - TS004908569.
    Development is starting to work on a project for which portlets are the best fit; but are cautions that their efforts may be wasted if portlets disappear completely in the next version or even 2 versions from now.

    Q: For the sake of longevity we'd like to know if portlets will still available in CA 11.2 and/or the foreseeable future - even if not officially supported by IBM.
    Q2: Is there any plan to bring back portlets to mainstream cognos analytics rather than having to use back-way entrances to create/manipulate portlets?

    Thanks for sharing your question. In regard to the on demand recording, if you've already filled out the form once, you can just login using your email address in the top right corner. You can access the recording as much as you'd like this way.
