In an active report we have a data-list-box where a single item can be selected (items belong to query1).
In a list below we wish to display only data items (query2) that correspond to the selected item above.
The problem: Query2 returns by default 180K data-items and the active report either does not load, or when extending the limit for retrieved items, performs badly. We wish to avoid triggering query2 until the item from query1 is selected, and then retrieve only the items that are relevant to the selection.
We tried:
1. Using the interactive behavior between the data-list-box and the list (with filter and/or select connection).
2. Using a Data-Card with Master-Detail relationship,
but query2 still always retrieves all 180K data-items upon execution of the report.
Any ideas about how limit the retrieved values for query2 according to the selection of query1?
