PAW Slowdown monitor

    Hi,

PAW seems to be much slower at loading pages then when I first installed.  Refreshes of existing pages seems fine.  Does anyone have any tips or tools to try to locate the slowdown?
As a reference, 20 seconds to open a sheet, 3 seconds to just see elements in a dropdown.

Currently I have PAW 2.0.43 installed.

    Scott,

Sounds about the same for us.  3 seconds to see elements in a dropdown and initial opening of the websheet sheet is about 10-20 seconds, but then once it is loaded and you move around different places, it loads quicker.  We have also found that the Websheets timeout in PAW and you have to reload the sheet.  Never have found a fix for that.  We are on PA Cloud.

    Hi Scott,

Can you explain to me a bit about your PAW Architecture? I'd like to understand how many servers are in your environment and what the specs are with regards to the RAM, cores and disc space.

    Thanks in advance,

    Scott-

I've noticed the same performance issues.   Interestingly, it seems to get worse the longer the server is up.  I don't understand why but it seems things run faster after a reboot (dropdowns and page refreshes).  I will say that we are in development and running TM1 and PAW(V43) on the same box.  Curious if you've found the same?

    Hi Chris,

We have only had a few full server restarts, and I was not paying attention to performance at the time.

    Hi Scott,

Lots of resources obviously. There's no quick answer for this. From the thread it seems like this could be a general degradation after over time. I would suggest logging a support case and having support help to resolve.

They may need more information to track down but I'm sure that with the assistance of our internal teams they could capture the root cause of the issue.

    Kind Regards,
