Database team increased a field length in Database. Now when I re-import the metatdata in data server and check in new Data Module, I can see changed length for the field. However, in existing Data Module, when I try to reimport metadata for impacted table, the length doesn't change for the impacted field.
Only way I can update length by online specification editing; however for large Data Module, it just doesn't open online and have to find another way to update this specification for the field.
If there is any alternate method without recreating whole thing, please let me know.

What is the kind of datatype change that you're making ?
Data Modules expose a higher level data type, that groups similar underlying data types into the same category, e.g. short, int, long all are INTEGER
varchar(10) , nvarchar(10), char(10), 10 representing any number, these all become TEXT.
Curious, because we could have missed something.

When underlying table structure is changed . Example - data length, I don't see metadata refreshed in Data Module even after refreshing Data Server.
Is this issue fixed in CA 11.1.6 or is there any work around so that we don't have to recreate table and associated joins?
