Filter "Include" rather than "Beginning With"

  • 1.  Filter "Include" rather than "Beginning With"

    Hi folks,

I work with a large data set of roadways and have had this consistent issue since upgrading to 11.

When searching for a specific roadway, I'll use Oakfield Park Road for example, if I search in "Oak", I should be able to search for any entry that includes OAK in the field. However, after digging, I found out there was an entry submitted to the database that said "Parking Lot - Oakfield Park Road" that was completely missed, as it only searched the entries that may have began with Oak instead of included Oak.

Prior versions would allow me to search for "beginning with" OR "included" but now searching I don't have that option, just to include or exclude the selected terms.

Is there any way to restore the previous function that I'm not aware of? I'm certainly not a power user of the application.

Scrolled to bottom, no P for Parking Lot
