Data and AI Forum 2019 is almost here, and Community Day kicks off the event on Monday, October 21st! IBM Community Day offers a unique experience for IBM Data and AI Forum attendees to gather, share ideas, learn, engage and explore with other tech practitioners, enthusiasts, learners, teachers, leaders, and doers across all roles and industries. The program is designed to introduce topics via primers, customer showcases and workshops to inform and prepare you for deep-dive content during the Data and AI forum main sessions. We also invite attendees to help shape the future of products and tools by contributing ideas and feedback in our design jams.

Will you be joining us in Miami next week? Consider this post as a chance to introduce yourself and to get to know some of your fellow Community members that will be in attendance as well. Additionally, after the event is over, return here to the forum and let us know your favorite part about the event in order to be entered into a drawing for an IBM Community swag package! We look forward to seeing you all next week.

Hello all! I am the community manager for Business Analytics and Isaiah, myself, Emily Chopra, and Marius Ciortea will be your go-to guides to all things community at the Data & AI Forum. We're looking forward to a great week in Miami. Some quick things to note:

    • Sign up for IBM Community at the event and receive premium swag (visit our booth on the expo floor)
    • Chat with us to learn more about upcoming events and ways to participate in community
    • Participate in the event scavenger hunt to get even more swag
    • Check back for presentations from the event
    • Make sure to introduce yourself here and share feedback - as Isaiah mentioned, a poster will be selected at random to receive a prize by mail next week!

I've also given you a virtual tour of the new community, and look forward to hearing from you. Cheers and have a great time in Miami!

    Hi everyone,

I am in Offering Management for IBM Planning Analytics, recently moved over from Cognos Analytics, focused on modeling.  Interested in understanding how Planning Analytics is being used, from all clients, both long term users who came from TM1, and new cloud clients who started in Planning Analytics.

The PA OM team is engaged in several improvement initiatives as well as brand new capabilities to help our clients succeed. Please pose questions to the community, we want to foster a robust group of passionate users who want the BA portfolio to help them and their organizations succeed.

How can I download the presentations from the Forum?  I filled out the survey and just got directed to the Aventri home page.  I would like to review several of the presentations.

    Hi everyone,

I along with @SAMI EL CHEIKH are Offering Managers for Cognos Analytics who are very involved with the community team so we can make it a hub for anything that you can think of! To make it a place where you can come and learn from various other experts, ask questions and get answers or simply learn more about the new and exciting things taking place with the various products.

We redesigned the whole community experience and the team is very excited to launch it at the community day keynote today! We also have a booth for Cognos and Planning Analytics so do come by, we'd love to chat with you!

We hope to see you there!

We are starting to play with the 11.1.4 and we were wondering if there will be a location for either in the community or in github for sharing d3 charts?

Great question Jo Marie !.... I would love to see a shared gallery or repo for this sort of content.
There appears to be a repo for some samples here already : https://github.com/IBM/ca_customvis/tree/master/code-samples/11.1.x
Maybe this could be the starting place for this sort of content.
