  • 1.  PA 2.0.9 Active Form with Stacked Column DIMS FAILS

    Posted Thu May 21, 2020 12:34 PM
We have installed PA 2.0.9 on two separate machines and we still get an error!

When exporting an Active Form into EXCEL with STACKED DIMS IN THE COLUMN SECTION OF THE REPORT IT FAILS (either an existing web based report or via perspectives cube using MS OS 2019 / Windows 10 and Excel 365)
Effectively swapping the stacked dims and causing report to fail, the behaviour is pretty consistent but it did work occasionally as it should.

This is a major concern, I have replicated the issue. I am hoping for some further verification of this is issue from other users of this forum.

    Thanks
    Richard

    Hi Richard,

I believe the issue you are experiencing is a known issue in 2.0.9. It has been fixed in 2.0.9.1/11.8 which was released this week.

    Thanks Tim,
I had googled it a couple of weeks ago but no one had posted the issue and still no one yesterday.
This upgrade should be withdrawn as a download option.

Just to round out the detail on this, active forms failed in the 2.0.9 perspective release, unless the row headers were in the same dimension order as the cube itself.  This is where the inconsistency comes from.
Just in case you want to check if you can reproduce and be sure it is the same issue.
The fix was promised in the 2.0.9.1 release (Not to be confused with 2.0.9 FP1....) which I think came out today.  We've not tested to see if it is fixed yet.
