Cognos Analytics

We are always trying to make Cognos Analytics even easier to use, and version 12.0.1 has a new feature that I know many of you will love.  How do I know this?  Because many of you have voted for this on our Ideas submission page.  In 12.0.1 you now have Favourites on the home page and Content pages! (I'm Canadian, so I will be spelling Favourites with a U throughout this post. 🇨🇦)

The Favourites Tab

This tab appears on both the Home and Content pages and shows all the folders and assets that you have favourited.  Favouriting is as easy as clicking on the heart icon of an item.  To un-favourite it, just toggle the heart off.  Everything with the heart on will appear in the Favourites tab, and from that tab you can open items the same way as you can while navigating folders.

You can also add and remove Favourites using the context menu.

Favourites are of course saved in your profile, so they are always there when you next login.
