The new IBM Cognos Analytics mobile app is now supported on-premise

I  have another exciting milestone to share with regards to the mobile capabilities of IBM Cognos Analytics:

Our exciting new Analytics mobile app, previously only available to cloud customers, is now available to our on-premise customers!

That's right, the ability to put your data into the palm of the hands of users such as your executives is now available to everyone using Cognos Analytics 11.1.7 FP2 or later.  Just head over to this download link to get the mobile services add-on installer: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6409590

This is just an add-on installer that augments your existing Cognos install, enabling support for the new mobile app.  You do not need to update your entire Cognos server.  Please read the install documentation carefully, there are a few caveats around platform support and which authentication providers that have been tested.

You can download the app from the iOS App Store and from Google Play.

Other authentication providers may work, but we haven't tested them yet.​

Great, looking forward to try this out!

Question regarding the authentication caveats: Can you give any guidance on which authentication providers we should expect to have added going forward (my specific question being, should we expect Azure AD/OpenID for the Analytics Mobile App)?
