New IBM Planning Analytics capabilities, start leveraging them today!
The fall release of the Planning Analytics Workspace (SC57), the most significant update to the product ever, is now available to install. This is for local installation; a SaaS (Cloud) update is coming soon with the release of SC58.

New charting and visualization in Books!
Books in Planning Analytics Workspace SC57 has a series of new capabilities, including new charting and visualizations. Waterfall, bullet charts, and multiple-column/line charts are a few of the new options.

Predictive forecasting!
Algorithmic forecasting is also new to Planning Analytics Workspace SC57. The algorithmic forecasting feature is the first step in a series of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities we're introducing to simplify the use of Planning Analytics. Predictive forecasting uses historical time-series data to create forecast data.

Administration page changes!
The Planning Analytics Workspace Administration page has been reorganized to provide greater insight into your environment and to simplify access to administrative tasks. The Administration page now includes several task-specific tiles like the Databases tile where it provides insight into the health of your databases. The Users and Groups tile lets you know how many users are assigned to each role and the number of groups that are defined.

TM1 Web New User Experience!
IBM Planning Analytics TM1 Web was refreshed on September 21 to provide a more consistent experience with other IBM products. A new login page and simplified icons throughout TM1 Web are the most prominent changes.

IBM Planning Analytics 2.0.9.3 is now available for both cloud and local deployments.

New look and feel!
Planning Analytics Workspace has adopted a new 'lighter' design just like other IBM products. When you first log in, a new landing page will provide you more than a content list, it also includes 'call to action' tiles for guiding users.

Guided planning!
With Planning Analytics Workspace 2.0.57, we have also added a new guided planning capability. Guided planning enables budget and planning managers to create plans that contain multiple stages, and steps within each stage. After creating the plan, planning managers can invite participants to the plan and assign them to specific steps.

Organize your planning interfaces as Applications!
With Planning Analytics Workspace 2.0.57, you can now organize your content into Applications and place them as entry points right on the Welcome page. Applications provide a way to bring content from several folders together in a way that reflects their business purpose.

Ask for help in the cognitive Learn pane!
You can now click the Help icon  and ask a question. The cognitive help tailors your help experience based on where you are in the product and finds only the answers that are relevant to your user role. You can also find the latest videos, blogs, and documentation.
