Security Bulletin: IBM Planning Analytics 2.0, only the Workspace component is affected by the security vulnerability: Apache log4j Vulnerability (CVE-2021-45046 & CVE-2021-45105). This issue is categorized as Critical Severity. Apache Log4j is used by IBM Planning Analytics as part of its logging infrastructure.
This bulletin addresses the exposure to the Apache Log4j (CVE-2021-45046 & CVE-2021-45105) vulnerability. IBM Planning Analytics Workspace has upgraded Apache Log4j to v2.17. Please note that this update also addresses CVE-2021-44228. Stay abreast of the latest remediation and fixes

Planning Analytics for Excel 32-bit Direction. To align with IBM Planning Analytics’ overall strategy in transitioning away from 32-bit clients as seen with TM1 clients such as TM1 Architect and TM1 Perspectives, Planning Analytics for Excel is preparing to support Windows 11 this year exclusively for the 64-bit Planning Analytics for Excel client.
