With the release of Cognos Analytics 11.0.10 we are happy to announce that we are releasing two of the most requested dashboard features.
The first is the ability to drill from a dashboard to a report (including passing of parameters), for the full rundown on this feature check out
this post by Dave Cushing.
The second capability is the ability to export a dashboard to PDF. To export to PDF you must be in the consumption mode of the dashboard, then from the top menu bar you can select to export to PDF.
You have the ability to select a few options related to the page size and orientation.
Once you click OK, the browser will take over and create the PDF for you to either save locally or print out a physical copy.
We are using the browsers print capability as a result there are some differences between the various browsers for more details please check out this technote:
