TM1 worksheet functions are an excellent way to enhance your analysis in IBM® Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel. TM1 worksheet functions can be used to send and retrieve a numeric or string value to and from a TM1 cube. For example, you can use worksheet functions to retrieve a value, the level of an element within a dimension, and the number of hierarchy levels in a dimension. You can also send values to a TM1 cube or to a specific  element attribute. See Worksheet functions overview for a list of TM1 worksheet functions.

To use worksheet functions, you need to enable worksheet functions in Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel.

This video shows you how to enable TM1 worksheet functions in Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel.

Open the full tutorial in YouTube and follow along in the documentation.
