Protect Your Brand Reputation More Easily with New Versions of IBM Secure Proxy and SEAS

By VIJAY CHOUGULE posted Fri February 08, 2019 12:56 PM

IBM Secure Proxy and Sterling External Authentication Server (SEAS) solutions protect your brand by ensuring connectivity with external partners is secure. The easier these solutions are to use, the more effective you can be at protecting your network, servers and data exchanges.

What’s New
Our latest release of IBM Secure Proxy and SEAS focuses on key capabilities that simplify administration, management and integration so you can spend less time on security and get better protection.

Soon, you’ll be able to:

  • Configure single sign-on (SSO) for external authentication providers based on SAML 2.0 specifications to conveniently manage authentication capabilities in one place and improve compliance of your IBM Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions with corporate security policies.
  • Reduce the time and staff required to prevent intrusion attempts with new capabilities that proactively restrict login attempts from probing, malicious, or invalid users and prevent the execution of undesirable (blacklisted) applications.
  • Simplify integration with external tools or applications by leveraging RESTful APIs for SEAS.

IBM Secure Proxy has improved performance with an updated technology stack, including support for Microsoft Windows Server 2016. It also provides improved failover support for high availability (HA) scenarios for SEAS.
