CICS IA has Threadsafe, and Affinity reports stored and displayed through eclipse views under the Reports section in the IA Navigation view. 

The export feature provides additional file format support so that users can export and view the report in HTML file format. 

This blog describes the steps to create and export a Threadsafe report in HTML format.

A.    Steps to create a Threadsafe Report.

1.  In the plugin, go to IA Navigation view.

2.  Expand the Regions.

3.  Right-click on the required CICS region.

4. Go to the Report option and select Threadsafe Report.

5. The Specify report parameters window appears.

6. Select the required TS from the drop-down in the CICS TS level.

7. Select the Show detailed data checkbox and click Next.

8.  The Specify file name window appears.

9.  Select the Threadsafe Reports folder.

10. Enter the File name and click Finish.

11. Now, a detailed Threadsafe report is generated.

B.    Steps to Export the Report into HTML format.

                    1. In the plugin, go to the IA navigation tab.

                      2. Expand the Threadsafe Reports under the Reports.

                   3. Right-click on the required report.

                       4. Go to Export and select Export to HTML file.

                          5. Browse the location to store the HTML file.

                          6. Enter the File name and click Save.
               

                         7. Report exported successfully info will appear, click OK.
             

                        8. The exported HTML report will appear as below.

Similarly, Affinity reports can also be exported in HTML format and viewed easily.
