Robot Shop is a cloud-native microservices demo application designed to simulate a real e-commerce website running in an AWS EKS cluster. The multiple microservices are built using a mix of languages, frameworks, and databases ( Node.js, Python, Go, Java, Redis, Rush, Spring Java, MongoDB, MySQL) to reflect a real-world polyglot environment.

Play with Instana is powered by a live e-commerce application, Roboshop, that’s continuously running in the background. It simulates real user traffic, generating data that mimics a production-like environment, including performance issues, warnings, and resource overutilization. Dependency Graph
