Earlier this year, IBM acquired IntelliMagic and announced the first release of IBM Z^® IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS. Vision for z/OS visualizes z/OS^® systems performance management using context-aware analytics, anomaly detection and pattern recognition to proactively monitor and manage z/OS environments, preventing disruptions, reducing costs, and ensuring reliability and availability. IBM Z clients can now take advantage of three new Technology Expert Labs services to help them on their Vision journey.

1. The Build On-Premise IBM Z IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS service is designed to help clients implement IBM Z IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS so they can easily optimize their workloads and site configuration to ensure their IBM Z workloads and hybrid applications are running efficiently. This service also enables clients’ z/OS operations team on how to identify unseen risks and tune workloads for significant cost savings.
2. The Assess Performance using IBM Z IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS service is for IBM Z clients that want to improve their operational health and performance to ensure optimal operations of their z/OS environment and associated mainframe subsystems. This service follows a proven methodology to assess clients’ z/OS operations environment and selected subsystems to provide a set of practical recommendations to strengthen clients’ system health.
3. Expertise Connect for IBM Z IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS is a subscription service designed to give clients direct access to trusted advisors from IBM Expert Labs that will act as an extension of a client’s operations team. Expert Labs consultants will provide clients with AI-driven operational insights to proactively identify risks, ensure availability, and optimize z/OS systems environments. Named IBM experts will provide regular AI-driven operational insights from IntelliMagic Vision for z/OS to promote optimal performance and high availability, helping clients identify issues before they cause a service disruption. IBM Expert Labs consultants will extend the capabilities of your operations team, providing proactive insights on optimizing your systems operations.
