Introduction of UIAgent Integration with RPA SaaS (Closed Beta)

By Suman Kalia posted 3 days ago

IBM UIAgent (Beta) is a companion offering to IBM RPA SaaS, designed for business users. It enables them to create and run web-based UI automations without writing any code. Users can develop and execute automatons directly using the IBM UIAgent browser extension, available for download from the Google Chrome Store.

If you are IBM RPA SaaS customer and interested in this UIAgent closed beta, enroll by using the UIAgent integration with RPA SaaS form https://forms.monday.com/forms/39ba76a738094f7e878f9f91df377412

One of the standout capabilities of UIAgent is its built-in resilience to UI changes, a challenge that has long been one of the main reasons automations fail. In traditional automation frameworks, even minor modifications—such as a button moving to a new location or a field being renamed with a similar label—can cause automations to break, resulting in significant maintenance overhead.

UIAgent addresses this problem by leveraging AI-driven similarity detection and adaptive mapping. This means that when a web element is moved or renamed, the automation can intelligently recognize the change and continue to function without manual intervention. These improvements not only reduce the need for frequent updates and patches but also significantly increase the stability and longevity of automations, making them far more reliable in dynamic environments. As a result, organizations can achieve wider adoption of automation while minimizing disruptions caused by ongoing UI changes.
