In this new series, we will take a selection of the most commonly asked customer questions and explain how to resolve them with some simple guidance.

In our first issue, we take a look at the IBM Aspera on Cloud environment to help customers quickly get up to speed with some of the basics.

1. If your customers are not receiving an Email invitation.

   Login to Aspera on Cloud and click on the right-side grid of dots called App switcher.
   
   
   
   Select the Admin app from this menu.
   
   
   
   

   On the left navigation menu, click on Organization > Notifications > Invite to Aspera on Cloud and enable this option.

   

   
   Note: Ask the customer to check their spam folder for a welcome mail from Aspera with the subject line, Welcome to IBM Aspera on Cloud.
   
   

2. If the Search in the Activity app is running slow

   Go to the Admin app.

   

   
   On the left navigation menu click on Workspaces. Select the workspace. Navigate to Applications on the horizontal header >Packages.

   

   
   Go to All packages. Use the filter to search by any column.

3. If you want to keep separate work areas for different customers but your subscription allows only one workspace.

   You can create different shared folders for different customers. Keep in mind to give permissions to a shared folder only to the intended Group of users.

4. If you want to see the allotted and used bandwidth and storage by your organization.

   Go to the Admin app from the right navigation menu from the App Switcher.

   

   
   On the left-hand side, navigate to Subscription >Usage.

   

   
   This screen shows the bandwidth consumed and how much storage and Egress is included with your plan. It also shows how much storage and Egress has been used, categorized by month or EntitlementId.
