I hope you’ve had a chance to notice all the changes in the New to IBM Z User Group. We are excited by the enhancements that allow for us to create a much more curated experience for mainframe professionals with less than 10 years of experience.
What you can look forward to this year for user group members:
· Technical Talks: join these sessions that introduce a topic we’ve had requests for, that can lead you to deepening your technical skills by earning applicable badges. (Held monthly on the 3rd Tuesday)
· Career Conversations will dive into specific roles, as well as some professional development topics. (Held monthly on the 2nd Thursday)
We are also excited to roll our New to Z Global Chapter Program. New to Z chapters create a localized in person experience for early tenure professionals to deepen technical skills and grow their network.
Missed some of our events? After each event, a replay and slides (if appropriate) are posted in the discussions area, allowing additional conversation post event.
