Hi everyone,
Just wanted to highlight some of the preliminary results coming in from the pre event Survey issued last week.
The survey consists of 5 basic questions, and provides all NZ MUG members with a chance to shape the content and direction of this year’s event.
Feedback so far suggests everyone is fairly happy with the format, and general comments such as being enjoyable, supportive, family comradery vibe, great networking environment etc are especially good to hear.
Aspects we can improve upon were identified though, so we’ll be taking these on-board:
- Ensure there is sufficient group discussion time, perhaps guided to provide flow but open to allow for audience participation/interaction.
- We need a varied mix of customer project stories, product information / training sessions and general day to day configuration/operational type presentations.
- Split sessions help to cater for the wide variety of different audience members interests, and time keeping is very important to ensure users can jump between these sessions as required.
Topic wise, Mobility Solutions is definitely of interest this year:

From the information provided to date, the top list would be:
- Health, Safety and Environment Manager
- Asset Health
- Start Centre Development
- Work Centres
- Wider Asset Management Principles
- Business Intelligence Tools / Data Visualisations
- Spatial GIS Integration
- Predictive Analytics
How does the above sound to you?
The pre event Survey will remain open until Friday 12th July, and thank you to those who have already completed this.
Best Regards,
Richard Jackson.
